Party For A Cause®

Party for a Cause® returned to Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, TN for a second consecutive year on Tuesday, August 23 benefitting ACM Lifting Lives®, the charitable partner of the Academy which works to lift lives through the power of music. An evening dedicated to celebrating the healing power of music, ACM Party for a Cause featured live performances by Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Scotty McCreery, Ingrid Andress, Blanco Brown, Travis Denning, Caylee Hammack, and more.

ACM Party for a Cause is a collection of charitable events that typically take place surrounding the ACM Awards. Portions of all event proceeds benefit ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, which works to lift lives through the power of music.

Throughout the years, ACM Party for a Cause has been presented in a variety of ways, including an outdoor music festival, pool parties, motorcycle rides, archery tournaments, tailgate parties as well as songwriter-in-the-round events. One of the most beloved ACM Party for a Cause events is the ACM Lifting Lives Topgolf Tee-Off. A favorite among fans and the Country Music industry alike, this event allows both groups the opportunity to participate in a fun day of golf and entertainment. It features performances and appearances by several Country Music artists at Topgolf’s state-of-the-art entertainment facility. As an event that blends technology, sport, and socializing into one experience, this modernized approach to our former ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic appeals to both golfers and non-golfers alike while continuing to raise funds for the ACM Lifting Lives Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund.

The Academy of Country Music had two Party for a Cause events originally planned for April 2020 surrounding the 55th ACM Awards; the ACM Lifting Lives Topgolf Tee-Off and the ACM Beach Bash Presented by Dr Pepper. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both events were unfortunately cancelled.

ACM Party for a Cause events have raised over $500,000 through ticket proceeds. In total, the Academy of Country Music and ACM Lifting Lives® have a 50-year history of charitable giving, and since 2006 ACM Lifting Lives® has given more than $7 million to more than 150 worthy causes.

ACM Lifting Lives® is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH THE POWER OF MUSIC™. Through partnerships with artists and strong ties in the music industry, ACM Lifting Lives® funds music health programs while also serving members of the music community who face unexpected hardships through its Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund. With generous donations and the support of artists and fans, ACM Lifting Lives® has funded national music therapy programs serving various mental and physical health organizations. Some of the recipients have included patients at children’s hospitals and other healthcare facilities, recovering veterans, people with Williams syndrome and individuals suffering with mental illness.
